I have been involved in the cat world since I was very young as my parents bred British S/H, Persians and Exotics. Over the years I found myself wanting to breed as well so at 15 I got my first prefix Nikiska and bred solid Persians. Having been involved with the breeding of Russians, I have a true love for curly coated cats and have gone back to the breeding of my beloved Devon Rex. Adding to this shortly, will be the introduction of a LaPerm breeding programme. These wonderful cats are so distinctive and it will be a huge learning curve for the future. My parents (Chris & Terry Merritt) and I are involved in the breeding of the beautiful Burmese with which we have had major success over the years with. I am currently the President of The Curly Coats Cat Club of Qld Inc and a member of the Exotic Cat Club of Qld Inc as well as being elected as a delegate of CFCCQ Inc.
