Q: My cat has had a contagious illness. What do I need to do to be able to show again?
A: Exhibits which have been diagnosed as having a contagious or infectious disease are not able to be shown for 60 days. You MUST also provide veterinary clearance, completed on the Vet's letterhead, which shows the following details:

  • Name of cat/s or kitten/s affected
  • Colour, age, sex of all cats or kittens
  • Registration details (if applicable) of all cats or kittens
  • Microchip numbers if applicable
  • FULL details of all treatment and management that was completed.

Q: If my cat/s has had an infectious or contagious illness, when can I visit shows as a Spectator, Steward or Judge again?
A: Within the 60 days exclusion period, you are not allowed to exhibit any felines, you are not allowed to work in any capacity at the shows and, if you are a judge, you are not allowed to officiate at shows until a full veterinary clearance is obtained.
