2009 COY Results

At Council of Federated Cat Clubs of Queensland Inc., we are committed to providing the best possible learning opportunities for our training and probationary judges. At our shows, you are likely to see judges in training “shadowing” visiting judges and learning as much as possible from these differing opinions. While we do not want to slow judging down, please be aware that some discussion may take place about features of a breed and/or a specific exhibit. This will be an open discussion and should not be seen as anything more than a training opportunity. You will be made aware, prior to judging, that shadowing is occurring in the ring. We thank you for your understanding.

From the start of the 2008 show season the following will apply

Supreme Champions All adult cats regardless of title will compete for challenges in Open Classes for each breed/colour (male, female, neuter, spey). However, in the case of a PDGC, the challenge can not be used towards Supreme Champion.

All cats with the title CFCCQ PDGC will compete by group together for Supreme Challenges. Males and Females will all compete together for the one challenge in the group and the altered males and altered females will compete together for one challenge in the group. in order to receive a PDGC certificate, the cat must first have won its breed challenge class. Then, it must also have been placed in the top five in show to receive the PDGC challenge. Platinum DGC who receive 20 awards may apply for the title of CFCCQ Supreme Champion.

Show entries: It will be a requirement that all exhibitors to CFCCQ shows include a copy of all exhibit's registration certificates. Copies of registrations will be maintained in the CFCCQ data base for the show season. You must send updated titles to the Show Manager, even if the pedigree is on file. All kitten entries must also include a copy of their current vaccination. These are also kept in the data base so only need to be produced once. Please check to make sure your kitten's vaccination certificates are on file.
