From time to time CFCCQ Inc. holds training courses for new judges. If you are interested and would like to be considered for the next judges traning course and feel that you qualify with the following criteria please write setting out all of your current experience to

Aim
To select suitable candidates who will meet the criteria required to be able to judge cats and represent CFCCQ in a manner, which will be seen to be both professional and knowledgeable.

Entry Requirements
The following criteria need to be considered before inviting an applicant to join the training program:- 

  • Completed time in the fancy — to meet the other requirements a time frame of a least five years would be needed.
  • Been active at club level and have held an executive position for at least one year.
  • Completed 10 each of stewarding and scribing jobs; assignments need to be verified by the show managers, e.g. signed cards.
  • Acted as a show manager at least once and as assistant at least once .
  • Have shown successfully and made up at least three Gold Double Grand cats.
  • Have bred five litters and benched kittens from this breeding.
  • Be of good standing and reputation within the fancy.
  • Be able to conduct themselves in a manner that appropriately represents CFCCQ, both in Queensland and away.
  • Be of appropriate appearance and demeanour.

Cost

  • New trainee (i.e. first licence) — $50 (covers standards, badge, and course notes)
  • Extending licence — $20 (covers course notes,) etc.
